Sun Safe Treatments

While some treatments require downtime and limited sun exposure there are several that leave you with immediate results and require little to NO downtime! Each of the following treatments are sun safe and will allow you to finish the summer with luminous, healthy skin:

HydraFacial MD

Dermaplaning

EMd Facial

Chemical Peels

Injectables

All injectables appointments are scheduled with Dr. McLaughlin, sole injector at The Retreat On West Magnolia and West Magnolia Plastic Surgery.

Dermal Fillers – Restylane®, Restylane Refyne®, Restylane Defyne®, Restylane Lyft®, Restylane Silk®

Dermal Fillers, such as the Restylane® family products, a clear, non-animal-based, biodegradable gel that is composed of hyaluronic acid, which occurs naturally in the body. Restylane products are administered through facial injections to reduce wrinkles and boost volume and fullness in the face. Fillers can be injected in the following areas:

  • Midface/ Cheeks: enhance volume in cheeks and help to lift the face
  • Under the Eyes/ Tear Trough: diminish dark circles & bags and add volume to under the eyes
  • Nasolabial Folds/ Smile Lines: the area that extends from the nose to the corners of the mouth
  • Corners of the Mouth: the area next to the crease of the lips
  • Lips: plump or enhance both the upper and lower lips
  • Marionette Lines: the area the extends downward from the corners of the mouth to the jawline

Dysport® – Don’t Let Frown Lines Get You Down this Summer!

Dysport® is an injectable that paralyzes certain muscles in the forehead so they can't move, thus preventing wrinkles from forming. It can also soften existing lines over time. Like Botox, Dysport uses a type of botulinum type A to stop muscle movement. Improvement can be seen in 2-3 days and may last up to 4 months. Dysport is injected in the following areas:

  • Frown Lines: Wrinkles that develop in between the eyebrows
  • Crow’s Feet: Wrinkles that develop on the outer corner of the eyes
  • Worry Lines: Forehead Creases and Wrinkles
